Cynthia Hernandez

Teaching Artist

Cynthia Hernandez was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Her passion for dance arose in the year of 2006 when she met her mentors, Jackie Lopez and Leigh Foaad. Inspired by her mentors, Cynthia began to continue training with Versa-Style where she attended Community Classes and Summer Intensives at the Jonette Swider Dance Center. After many years of hard work, Cynthia was asked to join Versa-Style’s Junior Company (Versa Style Next Generation) in 2009. There, her vocabulary in dance widened from a variety in styles consisting of House, Popping, Locking and Hip Hop social dances. Her hard work and dedication moved Cynthia up from Junior Company member to Core Dancer in Versa-Style. Cynthia is now attending California State University Northridge where she plans to earn a degree in Public Health.
