Alyssa Zavala is the Summer 2023 After-School Program intern for Everybody Dance LA! Under the supervision of Cindy Damas, she has been learning the necessary skills that come with being on an administrative team for a non-profit organization. Such skills include tracking student registration and communicating with parents/families. Alyssa is entering her third year at the University of California, Irvine where she is studying Dance Performance and Choreography. She is also pursuing a Management Minor, which is where her interest in Arts Administration comes in. Alyssa’s goal is to share her love of dance with others and contribute to the community that has made such a big impact on her life. She is eager to absorb all the information EDLA! has to offer to widen her lenses from an artist to an aspiring arts administrator.
