
Camille Kappelman
Teaching Artist
Camille Kappelman, a Washington State native, began her classical ballet training with Vashon Centre for the Arts on Vashon Island. She trained under Jill Adomaitis and Christine Juarez and spent summers training with former PNB principle dancer Deborah Hadley. Ms. Kappelman received her BFA in ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of former ABT principle, Susan Jaffe, pairing her classical training with courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Pedagogy, Dance History and Music Theory. She danced with State Street Ballet and Donna Sternberg and Dancers before joining Pasadena Dance Theatre where she is now in her fourth season. Ms. Kappelman is currently on faculty with Marat Daukayev School of Ballet. Additionally, she is a certified yoga instructor and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
