Darci Rosenberg

Darci Rosenberg received a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Dance from the University of California Santa Cruz. She danced with the Merce Cunningham trained Mel Wong before she moved to New York to complete the Alvin Ailey School, American Dance Theatre’s two-year training program. She has worked as a commercial dancer for music videos and advertisements and continues to perform in various styles and companies in Los Angeles. Darci has studied and taught ballet, jazz, hip hop, Afro-funk, and modern as well as parent-and-me and creative movement classes for young children. She received a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and incorporated dance into her children’s therapy practice integrating her two passions- dance and human behavior. Darci enjoys teaching an inclusive dance education curriculum utilizing story-telling, and socio-emotional exploration and is inspired by EDLA’s mission.
