Ivys De Leon

Teaching Assistant

Ivys is a teaching assistant at TGF’s new after-school site on the campus of Dr. Maya Angelou High School. She was also TGF’s very first Los Angeles County Arts Commission summer intern in 2017. Through her internship, Ivys gained a lot of experience on what it is like to work at a non-profit organization, and she even taught her own art classes for SummerDance camp. She is also a former student at everybody dance! where she trained in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz during her high school years. Dancing at everybody dance! helped her gain a lot of confidence and passion for dance. She is currently attending California State University of Los Angeles, majoring in Child and Family Studies.
