Kate Dougherty

Kate Dougherty is originally from Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. Kate began studying dance at Premiere Dance Studio at the age of five. She was awarded a talent scholarship to attend Muhlenberg College where she earned a BA in dance. Kate has trained, taught and danced in New York City, Italy and Los Angeles, working with CoreDance Contemporary, Emotions Physical Theater, Keith A. Thompson, Charlotte Boye-Christensen, and Dorrell Martin and has performed at such venues as Spazioseme di Seme in Arezzo, Italy, APAP at Peridance Capezio Center in New York City, and The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Besides dance, Kate has studied many other movement styles including aerial silks, capoeira, acrobatics, and break dance.
