Kevin Casasola

Teaching Artist

Kevin Casasola was born and raised in the small suburb of Murrieta in Riverside County. The joy of dance drew him since the 7th grade, where he first performed breaking at the middle school talent show. Since then, Kevin immersed himself in the performance arts through high school and college in the studio and competitive school teams. Kevin trained in primarily Hip Hop with a sprinkle of Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. While going to  UCLA, Kevin discovered Versa-Style Dance Company’s Friday house classes and went to become a junior company member on Versa-Style, Next Generation. Since graduating, Kevin has continued to expand his dance repertoire. He’s an avid whacking,  house dancer, and company dancer for Samahan, a Philippine Folk dance troupe. Kevin aspires to help students embrace love and freedom through social dance and community.
