Laurie Muniz, better known as “Lo” a native of San Diego, is the Artistic Director of Contemporary Arte In Movement. Laurie has danced with the Winifred R. Harris Between the Lines Dance Co., the Benita Bike Dance Art Company, and the Patricia Rincon Dance Collective. Stage credits include the National Tour of Selena Forever (Dance Capitan), Veteranos: The Legacy of Valor directed by Enrique Castillo, In the Heights (Dance Capitan) Performance Riverside directed by Carlos Mendoza and the 25th anniversary of Zoot Suit (Dance Capitan) with El Teatro Campesino. Choreography credits include Guys and Dolls at Candlelight Pavilion, Veteranos Legacy of Valor directed by Enrique Castillo, In the Heights (Assistant Choreographer) at Candlelight Pavilion, Corridos Remix with El Teatro Campesino, Romeo and Juliet at East LA Classic Theater Co., The Luis Oliart Project, Nitro, Tribute to Frida Kahlo, Cuentos: From the Living to the Dead, TMK Entertainment, 12 Words of Christmas, Imagine Christmas and Ignite Entertainment.
