Liz Martinez
Dance Site Coordinator
As a TGF Dance Site Coordinator since 2003, Liz receives monthly tuition payments, answers phone calls, enters data, helps instructors, monitors the parent waiting area, and supervises parent volunteers. Prior to her work at TGF, Liz served as a caregiver for the elderly from 1978-1998 and volunteered in the Downey Unified School District from 1984-1989. Liz worked for LAUSD at Virgil Middle School from 1997-2002 as the school’s “Parent Liaison” and was instrumental in opening Virgil’s first Parent Center in 1999. The Parent Center empowered parents to get involved and have a positive voice in their children’s education – setting this example being her heartfelt purpose. She was introduced to everybody dance! in 2000 when its doors opened and her daughter Lizzie joined one of the first dance classes.
