Ruby Rossi Grant

Teaching Artist

Ruby was born and raised in San Francisco, CA where she spent 15 years dancing in the Grrrl Brigade Dance Company at Dance Mission Theater, starting at the age of 4. She was also involved in the ODC Dance Company, along with Alonzo King Lines Ballet, focusing mainly in ballet and contemporary, but she also has experience in hip hop, jazz, bellydance, salsa, afro-brazilian and bhangra. She discovered her love for teaching when she moved to Los Angeles in 2019 to attend Occidental College and began teaching youth dance classes here in LA. She graduated in 2023 having studied Education and Sociology, and teaching dance along the way. Having taught kids ranging from ages 2 – 15 years, in many different styles, she is always excited and eager to have the opportunity to return all that dance has given her, onto the next generation.
