Sofia Martinez

Teaching Artist

Sofia Martinez is a Mexican actress, singer, and dancer living in Los Angeles. Coming from La Paz Mexico, Sofia moved to LA when she was 19 years old to pursue her career in Musical Theater at AMDA College. She also got interested in Method Acting and got a degree at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. Currently, she is part of a Theater Studio, The Imagined Life by Diana Castle, where Sofia gets to learn storytelling. During her time in LA, she has been training several dance styles at Millenium Dance Complex. Her works in LA  include the play Yerma by Federico Garcia Lorca with Foolish Company, Brisk Festival LA, and dancing at the Fringe Festival 2024. Sofia is passionate about the art of storytelling and bringing this to dance brings her joy, love, and connection when teaching and performing.
