Cortney Alexander has been teaching with TGF since 2009. Currently, she’s a Pre-Ballet & Ballet/Jazz and Jazz Teaching Artist and Director of the EDLA! Performance Company 2. She has also been a member of the After-School production team for over a decade and has produced/choreographed many wonderful After-School Program Recitals! Cortney was formerly the In-School Program Manager at EDLA! and is now a Dance Education Specialist in that program. During her time in Los Angeles, she has danced in numerous music videos, movies, plays, live performances, and she performs often with the Modern Dance Company The Movement Movement. Before that, she was a member of Zoetic Dance Ensemble in Atlanta, GA, performing with Immerse Dance Co. and Duende Dance Theater. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a double degree in Dance and History. Cortney also does improv comedy and performs locally with her improv troupe.
