Kristen Schalk

Teaching Artist

Kristen Schalk is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. She fell in love with dance at a young age and began training at Fuzion force studio in Charlotte where she studied under industry working choreographers And later went on to become a teacher and choreographer there. At the age of 18, she began dancing professionally for artists, music videos, and halftime shows on the east coast. She later attended UNCC as a dancer major and continued her training in ballet, jazz, African,  and  hip hop. She decided to take her career to the next level by moving to Los Angeles CA where she continued her training and professional dancing. She now has a strong passion for sharing her love and knowledge of dance to the youth! This is her first year with Everybody Dance LA, and she has loved every second of it so far!
