Lu Arróspide

Lu Arróspide is a dancer and choreographer borned and raised in Lima, Perú. She discovered her passion for dance at an early age dancing Flamenco. At the age of eleven, after her debut in a professional production, Lu knew she wanted to make dance her profession and started training in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Funk, Jazz, Ballet, Heels, Latin styles, House, Peruvian Folklore, etc. In 2018 she moved from Peru, to LA to pursue her career. She choreographed her first move ´Quien dijo Detox´ in 2019 and in 2021 signed with Adidas Perú after winning the Adidas Open Forum. In 2022 she graduated with her AOS in Dance Theater from AMDA, The American Music and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles. She has performed in many stage productions, such as the Opening Ceremony of the Pan American Games Lima 2019 and concerts, as well as filmed productions such as short films and music videos. Lu has a big love for teaching and has had experience teaching all ages and levels. With the goal of returning all that life and dance has given her, she joined the social project ¨Libertad Para Aprender¨, where she developed a dance program for the inmates. As an artist and a mover she is driven by intention, storytelling, technique and mind-body consciousness. Lu is ecstatic to keep learning, growing, creating, inspiring and navigating this crazy beautiful journey!
