Lu Arróspide

Teaching Artist

Lu Arróspide is a Peruvian dancer, choreographer, creative director and teaching artist based in Los Angeles. She began her professional career in Perú and moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to expand her training and career. Since then, she has performed and choreographed across stage, commercial, and filmed productions, including the Bad Bunny Superbowl Halftime Time Show, Fuerza Regida Stadium Tour, Los Bukis The Las Vegas Residency, among many other wonderful opportunities and collaborations with artists. She earned her AOS in Dance Theater from AMDA, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, in Los Angeles. As a teaching artist, Lu is passionate about creating spaces where dancers can develop both their technical abilities and their individuality. She has taught students of diverse ages and levels and has also used dance as a tool for community and empowerment through social initiatives such as Libertad Para Aprender. As an artist and mover, Lu is driven by intention, storytelling, musicality, and mind-body connection. Her vision is to create work that feels honest, purposeful, and alive, bridging technique with emotion and using movement as a way to connect, communicate, and inspire.
